PRICING CHANGE NOTICE - 2024

First, we would like to thank ALL of our customers who have helped us grow over the past six years with our VoIP Telephone Line services. During that time we have not needed, nor have we even thought about: Increasing rates on our VoIP Telephone Line service.

However, during the Covid shut-down period, and for the year following that ordeal, we have seen a couple minor carrier increases. Some costs are those 'nasty inflationary related costs' we have all seen in other markets (grocery store food, as one example).

While we have absorbed some monthly costs for the past two years, and not passed on those costs to you (our HIGHLY VALUED CUSTOMERS), certain line items we will now separate on your billing - going forward.
Base Rate - NO changes

Our Base Rate for (2x) VoIP lines and trunks will remain the same. This pricing has benefited ALL our customers who have moved over from traditional analog line providers and more expensive service providers. It is the nuts and bolts of YOUR business. Therefore, there will be NO changes on 'Base Telephone Line Service' costs.

e911 Rate Changes

e911 - there were two minor price increases on this line feature in the past few years. Unfortunately, it will still be mandatory to have it enabled. The price on e911 service will increase by $1.00 Canadian per month for all accounts. This also depends on "Local Regional factors" and not all customers will see the same rate increase on this line item.

Network Recovery Fee

We will be introducing a new line item on your bills: "Network and Recovery Fees" will be added. This rate item on our costs use to be hidden and "blended in" across all services on our invoices.

However, there were some price increases from $0.20 USD to $0.45 USD per month and we will need to separate it from our regular blended "VoIP Telephone Line Pricing".

This new line item will be introduced on your bill anywhere between February to April of this year. Cost item may be anywhere from $1.80 to $2.40 (Canadian) per customer, as a regional factor cost will be applied for some customers (IE: It applies to the Provincial region you are located in).

vFax Lines

Those who are still using vFax line services: We will be leveling all customers on the same rate. Previously we had a mix of rates for several different customers. Some were on base cost, plus a 'per minute rate'. We are terminating 'per minute costs' on faxing and putting in a fixed cost for all VoIP fax customers. The cost of generating monthly per minute fax invoices for users does not cover itself to produce the reports. No final fixed fax line price has been determined yet.

Closing summary

All other rates, services and plans will remain the same for "existing customers". It will take us some time to process these changes for customers who are on credit card payments. So these changes may take place at any time over the next couple of months on your invoices.

For MOST customers, you should only see a nominal $2.00 to $3.50 total increase in your monthly bill.

Not bad for six years in service, no other increases, and considering Covid and inflationary factors!

Again - we would sincerely like to THANK YOU - our HIGHLY VALUED customers - for helping us grow over the past six years since we introduced our VoIP services.
