IP Paging - Amplifiers for PBX Systems
IP paging amplifiers are used to connect your IP-PBX Phone System to your overhead paging speaker system. The SIP compliant paging device is usually 'registered' to your PBX Phone System as either a peered device or a SIP Extension. The device then transmits the analog signal out to your PA (Paging Amplifier) as an active signal when activated to page through your PA System, or overhead speaker system.
The PA device serves as an auto SIP answering "preamp" that drives the multi-speaker setup.
SIP - Public Address System devices bridge the gap between the old analog paging world, and the new VoIP / SIP Compliant telephone equipment technology available on the market.
