About the GrandStream GXW4216 Gateway Analog to VoIP/SIP
The GXW4216 gateway enables businesses of all sizes to create and deploy a VoIP and analog hybrid solution. This device allows you to add 16 analog / PSTN telephone lines to your VoIP network and expand capabilities and lines for your PBX Telephone System. It converts your analog lines to a VoIP account trunk to then populate that line with-in your existing PBX Phone System.
Generally VoIP Based phone systems allow for limited FXS trunks / analog line ports. This device allows you to expand that capability up to the devices (PBX) VoIP/SIP trunk capacity.
You can also use these devices with Grandstream’s UCM series of IP PBXs for Zero Configuration provisioning.

The GXW4216 is fully compliant with SIP standard and interoperable with various VoIP systems, analog PBX and phones on the market. It features multiple FXS analog telephone ports, superb voice quality, a suite of telephony functionalities, easy provisioning, flexible dialing plans, advanced security protection and strong performance in handling high volume voice calls. The GXW4216 and other of this series of gateways offers businesses a cost-effective hybrid IP and analog telephone system and utilize the benefits of VoIP communications.

Telephony Features Supported:
Caller ID display or block, call waiting, blind or attended call transfer, call forward, do not disturb, 3-way conference, last call return, paging, message waiting indicator LED (NEON LED) support and stutter tone, auto dial.
NOTE: Some Telephony features listed above may require interoperability with-in a PBX phone system environment set-up. Some features listed are relate to 'device specific manufacturer specifications' only. When used with a compatible PBX Phone System some SIP client devices (IP Phones) have additional feature become available when used in conjunction with the PBX itself. IE: Call Park / Call Return is a function 'on a PBX system configuration'. It will become a usable feature on the SIP Client / IP Phone device in conjunction with the PBX main system.
