The EX30 is an expansion board which provides the Yeastar S100 or S300 with a single line E1 / T1 - PRI port for telephone trunk line services.

PRI - The Primary Rate Interface (PRI) is a telecommunications interface standard used on an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) for carrying multiple DS0 voice and data transmissions between the network and a user. PRI is the standard for providing telecommunication services to enterprises and offices. In a nutshell, PRI is just another form of dedicated VoIP Telephone Line service. PRI generally allows for more "trunk lines" depending on the user's requirements and needs.

E1 / T1 - Are two different transmission rated services provided by the carrier for different speeds of traffic. Typically, this is a less common service today, with the latest developments in VoIP telephone line service. However, in some cases, larger corporations will benefit from utilizing PRI lines by separating the service from regular internet traffic by using a direct server connection with a PRI server, rather than shared internet traffic for VoIP telephone service.
